Founded March 2015 by Kyu Woo Nam after 30+ years in Korean cosmetics manufacturing, including CEOships at Kolmar Korea and Kolmar China where he oversaw product development for 300+ global brands. The brand was built explicitly for international export from launch — a reverse of the typical Korean domestic-first sequence — and has since become a reference for patient, slow-cultivation positioning in a trend-driven category. Sun Project sunscreen is the global hero; Hyejin Nam serves as Co-Founder and Head of Global Brand Marketing.
