Katie Sturino
Body-positivity influencer and writer Katie Sturino founded Megababe in 2017 to solve the un-glamorous body problems beauty had refused to address — chafing, sweat, body odour, in-grown hairs — with a comedy-led, no-shame brand language.
"Beauty should solve real-body problems, even the awkward ones — especially the awkward ones."
— Katie Sturino
Sturino built her audience as a body-positivity advocate and the writer behind The 12ish Style and Body Talk. She founded Megababe in 2017 with Thigh Rescue — an anti-chafing stick designed to make the problem nameable instead of shameful.
The brand has expanded into deodorant, body wash, anti-blemish products and pubic-care, and is sold across Sephora, Target and DTC.
Talk about it. Funny products with a serious problem-solving deck.
Body care should not be embarrassed of the body.
