Background
Originally from County Down, Northern Ireland, Mackin co-founded Act+Acre with Helen Reavey in 2019 in New York and co-developed the patented Cold Processed manufacturing technique that anchors the brand's formulation IP.
He runs the operations and supply chain side of the company, which became the first island-of-Ireland brand to enter Sephora in 2024.
