Ada Ooi grew up in Hong Kong, spending weekends at her grandfather's traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy. She trained as a facialist and Integrative Chinese Medicine clinician and built a celebrity London facial practice with clients including Rooney Mara, Ellie Goulding and Lily Allen.
She founded 001 Skincare London to translate her clinic's results into a take-home product line — formulations that combine plant actives, peptides and cosmeceutical technology with a Chinese-medicine reading of skin as a downstream signal of internal balance.
